Overview:

We can enhance our region to have a truly "livable community" by strengthening a few categories-the health status of our population, the condition of our environment, access to and support of our cultural assets, our civic involvement and pride, a sense of place, and our openness and inclusion of all in civic life. Improving in these categories would increase our ability to grow a strong local economy, attract and retain a capable workforce, and provide the highest quality of life for all. This group will define and develop an action plan for creating an sustaining, a high quality of life for all who call our region home by identifying and understanding the characteristics of a truly "livable community" and leveraging our assets to achieve them.
